FASHION OBSESSION: NYFW Street Style Accessories

We all know the power of the accessory in making or breaking an outfit.

Accessories present endless opportunities, helping you make the best of each and every item you own- the important details needed to complete each look.

Sometimes all it takes for your ensemble of carefully curated clothing to completely graduate to a ‘Look’ is that one defining accessory.  A change of a shoelace, the addition of a bracelet, an unusual piece of jewelry, not only make a fashion statement but are great conversation starters.

The pro-dressers of New York Fashion Week, which wrapped last week, have this rule down to a fine art.

Photographer Mark Iantosca captures the spirit and the vibe of NYFW on the street, finding the best odds and ends, bits and baubles, and all the arm / foot / eye candy the week had to offer.  Great hats, bags, rings, statement jewellery, and sunglasses all help these fashion mavens further emphasise their personal style, taste, and preferences.

And don’t forget, above all, your smile might just be your most important accessory – one that you can wear as often as you like!
