BEAUTY BEAT: Best looks from the Cannes Film Festival 2014

Lara Stone 2014 Cannes Film Festival Best Beauty Looks - Day 8

Lara Stone channelled Brigitte Bardot with smoking hot cat’s eyes (those lush lashes!), pared back base and full, nude lips. The gorgeous side swept waves held the look together.

Frieda Pinto ups the glam with a classic side-parted wave, flawless base and a beautiful deep red lip. Classic.

Rosario Dawson showed off her awesome new razored ‘do, played up to full effect with a smoky bronze eye, peachy lips and a natural bronzed base. You rock, Rosario.

Coco Rocha looked every inch the porcelain doll that she is with this glamorous and edgy look. Love love LOVE those winged eyes, and the bright cherry orange lip pops against her flawless alabaster skin. Not to mention that divine 20s-esque bob, nice work Coco.

Marion Cotillard 2014 Cannes Film Festival Best Beauty Looks - Day 8

Marion Cotillard is always a vision and shows here why she never needs much in the makeup department to make her sunny french features sing. Her skin is beautiful and radiant and her base is light and luminous enough to let her natural beauty shine through.  well groomed brows and a touch of bronzer giver her face the frame and colour while that elegant 60s inspired up do sets it all off. Gorgeous woman!

Irina Shayk 2014 Cannes Film Festival Best Beauty Looks - Day 8

Irina Shayk bewitched all that she gazed upon with that natural looking face, framed perfectly by amazingly sculpted brows. I have serious brow envy happening. They are amazing brows. Again, a luminous, natural but flawless base help her natural radiance shine, and ensure her look isn’t too overly ‘done’.

Aishwarya Rai 2014 Cannes Film Festival Best Beauty Looks - Day 8

Aishwarya Rai can never put a foot wrong in the makeup and hair department. Looking stunning as always, Rei plays up her exquisite features with sparkling purple and taupe eye pigments to make those catlike peepers shine.  Loving her perfectly smooth, voluminous and shiny waves too.

Zoe Saldana is another who rarely steps outta line with her style. Here she pairs a classic combo of slick winged eyeliner and red lipstick with beautiful bouncy curls for instant starlet.

Delevingne’s brows steal the show again! Channeling the Shields, Cara puts her most stylish self forward here with a glamorous deep matte plum/ burgundy lip and a side swept ‘do.

Cannes 2014 - Amber Heard

Wow! Those velvety crimson lips look absolutely knockout on Amber Heard. The strong brows, luminous flushed cheeks and cool half-braided hairstyle keep the look looking classic but not too stuffy.

Cannes 2014 - Riley Keough

Riley Keogh channeled old-skool Hollywood with a gorgeous dark berry lipstick (I’m sensing a theme here). The glimmering lids and fresh skin show how to keep this look from looking too winter.

Cannes 2014 - Liu Wen

Love a good Veronica Lake wave, especially when teamed with a classic red lip. Liu Wen keeps it simple and classic with beautiful results.

Another of Rocha, because I love her chameleon-like style! Coco proves that fashion needn’t be stuffy and injects a bit of fun into her style this time with an offbeat purple hued lippie and a dramatic winged eye.  The colour looks incredible against her white dress and a little more interesting than the dark red, bright red and nudes everyone else was rocking.

Top of the class ladies! Who was your favourite from the Cannes film festival this year?
